A first foray into the video world: reading the poem “Call and Response”, one of the five poems from Norway Poems, a section of my latest book of poetry The Risks of Remembrance, and one of the most interesting for me, as I explain at the beginning of the video. Thanks to my friend Renia Tymisnky, who filmed the video, I have the impetus and the opportunity to learn more about this bit of technology – even bought a Flip Video cam corder and look forward to the fun of experimenting.
On November 13 at the Rivoli I will be the guest poet at the launch of books by Shane Joseph and Brian Mullally, and on December 4 in Mississauga I am one of the poets at an event honouring P.K.Page.
